A few details behind the mystery

About the keepsakes

How the soil is prepared

I bring my own soil to the featured location and lay it on the ground as part of a personal ritual intended to connect it with the energy and atmosphere of the place. I then package that soil in a keepsake vial. The soil is supplied by me; it is not soil removed from the property's grounds.

The air vial

The air vial is closed at the location to hold ordinary air from that visit. Air is invisible, so this vial looks empty. Each kit's tags identify the preparation date and the actual spot visited.

A symbolic keepsake

References to energy describe personal belief and the intention behind the ritual. Energy transfer or paranormal properties have not been scientifically verified, and no supernatural effects are promised. These are decorative novelty keepsakes for people who enjoy history, folklore, and ghost stories.

Independent creation

Haunted Ground Keepsakes is independently made and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any featured location or its owners.

Location photographs

Bobby Mackey’s uses a customer-supplied photo of its former Wilder building; its public domain status has not been verified. Other location images use photographs whose source records identify a public domain release, CC0 dedication, or public domain status in the United States. Historic photographs and postcards are labeled. Product previews are AI mockups of the intended packaging; the real location photograph is displayed on the preview’s place card. Each photo's source and rights record is linked on its location card. Where verification is pending, we show our brand emblem instead of a location photo.

Keep sealed. Decorative use only; do not ingest or inhale the contents. Glass vials and small parts should be kept away from children and pets.
